Suwon Yeongtong Gwanggyo E-mart is in contiguity with East Suwon tollgate in Gwanggyo housing development site, the gateway to Suwon. Three sides of this long and indented free site are surrounded by a buffer green zone and only one side is close to road, making traffic access difficult. That is why we planned E-mart in a different way from the previous cases. By the nature of the site neighboring the gateway to Suwon, the general façade of E-mart was disapproved by Suwon city. We have reflected this point to Gwanggyo E-mart, which makes it unique. We hope this will be a good opportunity to change monotonous facades of the general E-mart in the future.
